While helping the Andersen family move from Hollister to Provo twenty-one years ago, I foolishly drove one of two U-Haul trucks beyond its recommended mechanical limits and broke it down out in the middle of nowhere. Although I undoubtedly deserved some type of upbraiding, Brother Anderson simply opened up the back of the U-Haul, pulled out a desk and a chair, plunked down his book manuscript and said, "looks like we'll be here awhile." He went right to work in the hot sun, as if relieved to finally have found some time to devote to the book. It was not the last time I tried his Christian spirit that trip, but not once did I find a chink in his integrity. God bless the Andersen family at this time as we remember and honor his good life.
